Creating Home II Dining Symposium

Pioneer Network and the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) collaborated to offer an online symposium to focus specifically on culture change and dining. Originally developed as a day-long event in Baltimore, the February mid-Atlantic storms forced a cancellation of the symposium.

After a solid two years of preparation, including the gathering of some of the most sought-after minds in culture change and dining, Pioneer Network feels the information is too rich to be lost to Mother Nature's whims. The result was webinar with presentations from those scheduled to speak at the in-person symposium. Although the webinars are no longer available, the background paper and presenters papers can be accessed here:
  • A background paper prepared by Carmen S. Bowman, MSH, ACC Regulator turned Educator, Edu-Catering: Catering Education for Compliance and Culture Change, which sets the historical framework for this symposium.  We encourage you to read this paper in preparation for the webinars and symposium experience.
