History
The Texas Culture Change Coalition held its first Steering Committee meeting in July 2010 and began by developing three sub-committees (Organizational Administrative, Marketing/Development, and Education/Training). Steering Committee members include individuals from the business community, non-profit community, education community and providers. A web site was launched: www.TxCCC.net. In 2013, TxCCC became a 501 C-3 organization with a Board of Directors with representatives from nursing facilities, assisted living facilities, adult day care, government, and community.

Each year since 2011, TxCCC has conducted a one-day conference. Conferences in 2011 and 2012 were co-sponsored by the Texas State University Long-term Care Institute and the conferences in 2013 and 2014 were cosponsored by the Texas Department of Aging and Disability Services.
